Igeekphone, November 15 news, science and technology media sammyguru published a blog post today (November 15), reported that the Korean version of Samsung Galaxy S25 standard edition mobile phone appeared in the GeekBench running library, confirming that it is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Supreme version chip, memory will be upgraded to 12GB.
According to the information on the running library page, the model of the machine is SM-S931N, and the single-core score is 2481 points in GeekBench 6.3.0 version and the multi-core score is 8658 points.
Igeekphone attached the screenshot below, the page shows that the Korean version of the Galaxy S25 standard edition is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition for Galaxy chip, the frequency is 4.47GHz, as a comparison, the standard version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition is 4.32GHz.
However, from the point of view of running points, although the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Supreme version for Galaxy chip has a higher frequency, but the multi-core run is divided into 8658 points, not as good as the standard version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Supreme version (has broken 10,000), partly because of the prototype, Samsung has not yet fully optimized.
While there have been rumors that the Galaxy S25 and S25 + could be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2500 processor, the latest news suggests that the Snapdragon 8 Elite will be used globally.
Due to the poor output of the 3nm process, it is reported that Samsung has shelved the Exynos plan and fully adopted the Snapdragon core chip.
