Igeekphone July 31 news, news source DigiTimes yesterday (July 30) published a blog post, said that Apple iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max two flagship will support Wi-Fi 7 network, The other two support Wi-Fi 6E networks.
Note: Wi-Fi 7 is the next generation Wi-Fi standard, which introduces 320MHz bandwidth, 4096-QAM, Multi-RU, multi-link operation, enhanced MU-MIMO, multi-AP collaboration and other technologies on the basis of Wi-Fi 6.
Wi-Fi 7 offers higher data transfer rates and lower latency, and peak theoretical data transfer speeds will exceed 40 Gbps, four times higher than Wi-Fi 6E.
In addition, Wi-Fi 7, like Wi-Fi 6E, has three communication bands, including a low frequency band of 2.4GHz and two high frequency bands of 5GHz and 6GHz.
If Apple does upgrade Wi-Fi 7 support on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, users will also need to upgrade their router to enjoy extreme transfer speeds.
