Theoretical performance test

Game Testing
For game testing, we selected two mobile games, namely “Peace Elite” and “Genshin Impact”. In an indoor office environment of 28 degrees Celsius, we prioritized frame rate and recorded frame rate, power consumption, energy efficiency ratio, and body heating performance during the game.

We initiated testing with the Peace Elite mobile game. Under HDR high-definition picture quality + extreme frame rate, we engaged in a fierce battle. The average frame rate stabilized at 59.64FPS, with occasional slight frame drops that didn’t significantly impact overall picture stability.
Power consumption averaged about 3.38W, with an energy efficiency ratio of 17.64FPS/W, showcasing excellent energy efficiency.
Temperature-wise, the highest temperature on the back of the body reached 39.3 degrees Celsius, which, considering the device’s thinness and lightness, is acceptable given the smooth frame rate and good energy efficiency ratio.

Genshin Impact
Moving on to the high-load Genshin Impact mobile game, at the highest picture quality + 60FPS frame rate, we explored the map in Xumi City for 15 minutes. The average frame rate stabilized at 56.47FPS, with some fluctuations observed during gameplay.
Towards the later stages of the game, after approximately 10 minutes, there were slight frame rate drops, followed by recovery after about 2 minutes, and similar fluctuations thereafter.
However, these fluctuations were not particularly noticeable to the naked eye, maintaining considerable game screen smoothness.
Examining power consumption during gameplay, it peaked at an average of about 5.7W, indicating sufficient phone performance, with an energy efficiency ratio of 9.9FPS/W. Running this type of high-load game poses a challenge for a thin and light portrait phone.
In terms of temperature, the highest recorded temperature on the back reached 46.7 degrees Celsius.
Battery
The S19 Pro charges fully in just 44 minutes and boasts a battery life of nearly 8.5 hours. The battery life of a thin and light mobile phone is commendable.
Vivo introduces the ultra-thin blue ocean battery technology, originally featured in the X series, to the S series for the first time with the S19 Pro. It features a built-in 5500mAh large-capacity battery.
Equipped with second-generation silicon-carbon negative electrode battery technology, the S19 Pro achieves the industry’s highest energy density of 809Wh/L. The conventional graphite negative electrode is surpassed by 20%, and the extreme graphite negative electrode by 16%.
Moreover, by customizing the circuit design, Vivo successfully reduces the volume of the protective plate by 15%, adopting a foldable design that significantly reduces the space needed for battery packaging. Compared to traditional designs, the space occupied is slashed by about 50%.
Vivo also develops a unique ultra-thin and sturdy battery casing, accommodating more battery materials while maintaining the total battery volume unchanged, thereby increasing the battery capacity by approximately 120mAh. Now, let’s delve into the charging and battery life of the Vivo S19 Pro.
Charging Test:
In our test, we discharged the phone’s battery to 1% to evaluate its charging capabilities. It took just 10 minutes to reach 21%, 20 minutes to hit 45%, 30 minutes for 67%, 40 minutes to reach 91%, and finally, a mere 44 minutes to fully charge.

For the battery life test, we employed Battery Dog, a professional battery life test tool developed by Fast Technology.
