The entry-level Sharp AQUOS wish4 phone was released at the same time as the AQUOS R9, also designed by miyake design, and will be available in early July.
The AQUOS wish4 features a soft-touch, frosted plastic body, about 60% of which is recycled plastic, and is available in blue, white and black. The phone meets 18 MIL-STD-810H military specification tests and is IPX5/8 water resistant and IP6X dust resistant.
The phone features a 6.6-inch 720p 90Hz Water drop LCD screen on the front, the same Guet 700 processor as the previous generation wish3, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and an upgraded battery capacity of 5000mAh.
The new camera features a 50.1 megapixel main camera with an f / 1.8 aperture and a 25mm equivalent focal length, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
The AQUOS wish4 will be available in Japan in early July and will also be available in Singapore and other markets.
