On April 29, it was reported that the model comparison diagram of the four models of the iPhone 16 series was exposed, showing the size and appearance design of the new generation of products.
The new phones will continue the sequence of the previous generation, respectively, iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, and the four models will have a screen size of 6.1 inches, 6.7 inches, 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches.
Despite previous rumors that the Pro version would feature a triangular rear camera module, that hasn’t actually changed, keeping almost the current design.
However, the screen size has increased slightly, which is said to be because Apple has upgraded the screen technology again, making the bezel further narrow, so that the overall volume is almost the same, but the display area is increased.
The standard version has undergone major changes, especially in the rear. The new phone cancels the matrix scheme that has been used since the iPhone 11, and places the dual camera directly vertically, making the overall design more concise. It is reported that the change is designed to achieve spatial video recording, so that the main camera and the ultra-wide Angle camera can be at the same level when the phone is held horizontally.
Image is the biggest upgrade of the iPhone 16 series, the Pro series main camera will use a new 48 million pixel sensor, while the super wide Angle will also be upgraded to 48 million pixels, as a small screen iPhone 16 Pro will also use a hidden telephoto lens.
Taken together, the unveiling of the iPhone 16 series demonstrates Apple’s continued efforts in innovation and technology to bring users a more powerful and advanced smartphone experience.
