IGEEKPHONE March 12 news, vivo’s smart phone brand iQOO released a new machine iQOO Z9 today, which is equipped with Mediatek Dimensity 7200 processor, with 8GB memory, and can be extended to 16GB memory through software algorithms. The iQOO Z9, which was first launched in India, is a 5G phone targeting the mid-market.
The iQOO Z9 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The phone has a perforated screen design and a 16MP front-facing camera. The rear camera module has a square design and consists of two cameras, the main camera is a 50MP SONY IMX882 sensor, and supports optical stabilization (OIS). The other camera is a 2MP depth of field lens that can be used for camera functions such as portrait mode. In terms of video shooting, the iQOO Z9 supports up to 4K 30fps video recording.
In terms of operating system, the iQOO Z9 comes preloaded with Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. Mobile phone battery capacity of 5000mAh, support 44W fast charge, and the official standard charger. In some markets, such as India, the box will also come with a phone case.
The iQOO Z9 supports dual SIM and dual standby, and the second SIM card slot is a hybrid SIM card slot that can be inserted into a micro SD card for storage expansion (up to 1TB). Unfortunately, the iQOO Z9 lacks an NFC, FM radio, and 3.5mm headphone jack, requiring audio output via a Type-C interface or wireless connection.
The iQOO Z9 is available in two color schemes: frosted green and graphite blue. The 128GB version is priced at 19,999 Indian rupees (IGEEKPHONE notes: currently about 1,736 yuan), and the 256GB version is priced at 21,999 Indian rupees (currently about 1,910 yuan). During the first sale period, purchases with some bank cards can also enjoy a discount of 2,000 Indian rupees (currently about 174 yuan).
The iQOO Z9 will first go on sale to Amazon Prime customers in India on March 13 and to all customers on March 14.
