Igeekphone February 3 news, recently there are multiple sources revealed that Qualcomm is about to launch Snapdragon SM8635 chip (specific name unknown). Now, blogger @Digital Chat Station has more news about the product.
The blogger revealed that the Snapdragon SM8635 chip will use TSMC 4nm process technology, equipped with a 2.9GHz± X4 core, GPU Adreno 735, frequency of more than 900MHz, Antutu running score of about 1.7 million.
According to another blogger @i Ice Universe, Qualcomm will release the previously rumored SM7675 and SM8635 chips in March this year, which is equivalent to different frequency versions of the same chip.
@i Ice Universe also said that the two chips share the development code “Cliffs” inside Qualcomm, and the two fully inherit the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 architecture, and the current performance is not clear.
For reference, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is built using TSMC’s 4nm process. The CPU uses a new 1+5+2 architecture, including one 3.3GHz X4 super-large core, three 3.15GHz A720 large cores, two 2.96GHz A720 large cores, and two 2.27GHz A520 small cores. Compared with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the overall CPU performance is improved by 30% and the energy efficiency is improved by 20%. Overall SoC savings of 10%.
At present, Qualcomm has not officially announced any information about the two processors, and Igeekphone will continue to pay attention and bring follow-up reports.
