At CES 2024, TCL launched a 115-inch TV with the model QM891G, featuring a mini-LED panel with 20,000 individual backlight partitions and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
TCL’s QM891 is fully functional, Includes 120Hz QLED display (144Hz with VRR), AMD FreeSync Premium, anti-glare screen coating, integrated 6.2.2 channel Dolby Atmos speaker system with speakers, and ATSC 3.0 for next-generation broadcast TV The tuner.
The QM891 is equipped with 20,000 separate backlight partitions that provide excellent contrast. TCL says the peak brightness of the screen is 5,000 nits, which is 2.5 times that of the current “brightest TV ever.”
TCL says the new TV uses the AIPQ Ultra processor and quantum dot technology to cover 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
