On January 8, according to media reports, Baracoda, a French technology company, launched the world’s first artificial intelligence-based mental health smart mirror.
The mirror can recognize a user’s emotions and help manage stress to become a “healthy partner” in life.
It is reported that BMind is based on the CareOS platform’s new generation of intelligent mirroring software, which can provide personalized advice and experience according to the user’s mental state.
Unlike phone-based apps, BMind blends seamlessly into each person’s room, allowing users to assess their mental state and select recommended exercises and activities to lift their mood.
Users can interact with the mirror through voice, gestures, etc., such as making a fist, tapping to return to the main menu, and the gesture to select the current content is thumbs up.
In addition, BMind can gather information without any invasive technology and help users integrate mindfulness practices into their daily lives, even suppressing loneliness through immersive experiences using lights, sound, and vision.
It is worth mentioning that BMind is built on top of the CareOS operating system, which also allows third-party providers to connect their applications for display in a mirrored interface.
Of course, as a tool involved in the daily life of consumers, its privacy is also very much in place, users’ health and personal data is stored locally and will never be shared with any party without the explicit request and consent of the user.
