Previously we have reported about Samsung Galaxy S8 Exynos 8895 performance score, which is higher than that of Snapdragon 835 processor, but at that time there is no test score about Snapdragon 835 version. Now we have acquired from Geekbench to get two versions of Galaxy S8 performance. According to current leaked score, it proves Exynos 8895 performance looks better than Snapdragon 835 on Galaxy S8.
In terms of Samsung practice, Galaxy S8 will use two versions of SoC, one is Samsung own Exynos 8895, the international version model is SM-G955F, the other is Snapdragon 835 version, the model is SM-G950U, both have RAM 4GB.
Samsung Exynos 8895 uses 10nm LPE , consisting of 8 core, 4*M2 core and 4x Cortex-A53 core, it uses Mali-G71 MP20 GPU, integrated with 5x20MHz LTE Cat 16. Snapdragon 835 processor adopts Samsung 10nm FinFET, 4+4 Core, up to 2.45GHz big core, 1.9GHz small core, it adopts Adreno 540 GPU, supporting Snapdragon X16 LTE modem.
From performance score, if we just see single core, Exynos 8895 has 1978 points, Snapdragon 835 has 1916 points. They don’t have much gap. But in terms of multi-core performance, they are 6375 vs 6011 separately, therefore, this result proves our speculation that Samsung Exynos 8895 performance is better than that of Snapdragon 835, but Snapdragon 835 has advantage in internal storage test. As for comprehensive performance, we have to wait until real phones come out.
