Today, blogger @IceUniverse brought breaking news, revealing a significant overhaul in the design of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. With the advent of the “Lee Yi-hwan Era” starting from the Samsung Galaxy S25 generation, Samsung mobile phones are set to undergo a distinctive transformation in style.
For several consecutive generations, the Samsung Galaxy S series adhered to a consistent design style. The standard version featured a central single-hole straight screen with a vertical three-lens arrangement, while the Ultra model adopted the Note design language. However, since the S21 series, Samsung’s modifications to the appearance of each generation have been relatively minor.
At the close of the previous year, Samsung made a noteworthy move by hiring Hubert H. Lee, the former chief design officer of Mercedes-Benz China, as Samsung’s executive vice president and head of the MX (mobile experience) design team. This development heightened user anticipation. Despite the many changes observed in the appearance design of the Samsung S24 series, the company chose to stick to the appearance design of previous generations, perhaps in the interest of safety.
A graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, recognized as one of the premier automotive design schools globally, Li Yihuan joined the Mercedes-Benz design team immediately upon graduation. Leading the styling design of the second-generation Mercedes-Benz CLS (W218) marked one of his notable accomplishments. In 2008, he ascended to the role of creative manager at the Mercedes-Benz California Global Pioneer Design Center.
