Today, Lu Weibing posted on Weibo, stating, “Getting ready for a long trip; there’s a possibility I’ll head straight to the factory to assemble the Xiaomi 14 series when I return.”
What’s on the horizon? Xiaomi14 and 14 Pro are about to make their debut. Lu Weibing mentioned his plans to work on the assembly line at the factory.
It’s worth mentioning that Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit has confirmed its event on October 25-26, where they will unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 flagship platform. As tradition dictates, the Xiaomi 14 series is expected to be the first domestically produced flagship to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. So, it’s highly likely that Lu Weibing’s upcoming business trip is related to the Snapdragon Summit.
It is anticipated that Xiaomi will officially announce the specific release date for the Xiaomi 14 series as early as next Monday. According to the renowned leaker @evleaks, both the standard and Pro versions of the Xiaomi 14 will be equipped with the brand-new Leica Summilux lens. This will be the best lens the company has ever used.
Recently, two new models with IDs 23127PN0CC and 23116PN5BC were certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and they are expected to be the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. With these certifications in place, the Xiaomi 14 series has all the necessary approvals.
This also indicates that the Xiaomi 14 is now ready for the market, and its release is not far off, just pending an official launch event. Currently, the Xiaomi14 series has been delivered to the factory and has officially entered production.
