On October 5, Simply NUC recently launched a new active cooling NUC device named Zircon (Zircon).
Simply NUC says Zircon is a cost-effective device for users who need to build a smart home, businesses looking for low-cost edge computing devices, and retailers who need an entry-level player.
Simply NUC Zircon’s CPU is a 15W Intel N95 processor, 4c4t (all E-Core), and has a maximum Rui frequency of 3.40GHz. It comes pre-loaded with a single 8GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM memory, with expandable capacity up to 32GB.
On the hard drive side, it comes with an M.2 2280 (PCIe 3.0 x4 spec) slot and a 2.5-inch SATA slot. For wireless cards, the device is equipped with Intel AC7265, which supports WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0.
In terms of interface, it has 1 USB 3.0 Type-C (supporting DP Alt), 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, and 1 3.5mm audio interface on the front. On the right side is a MicroSD card reader.
On the back are DC power ports, 2 HDMI 2.0, 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, and a 2.5Gb port. Counting the DP Alt of the Type-C interface, Simply NUC Zircon supports a maximum of three screen output.
Currently, 8GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM memory is pre-installed, and the base version of 256GB M.2 SATA SSD is priced at $199 (about 1452 yuan), and comes with three years of after-sales support.
