Samsung recently reported that the smart bracelet with the model number “SM-R390” has recently received FCC certification and is expected to carry the name “Samsung Galaxy Fit 3” upon its launch.
As per the design sketch revealed in the certification document, the bracelet features a heart rate sensor on its rear side and is equipped with two spring pins for charging. However, the FCC document does not furnish any additional information.
The Galaxy Fit 2 smart bracelet has a 1.1-inch full-color AMOLED screen, is waterproof up to 50 meters (5 ATM), and comes equipped with a heart rate monitor, gyroscope, accelerometer, automatic exercise detection, and sleep tracking.
Notably, the Galaxy Fit 2 operates on rtOS, as opposed to WearOS. It lacks a GPS module, a feature that many hope will be introduced in the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3.
