Igeekphone September 8 news, Google previously announced October 4 held a hardware conference, today released two trailer videos, showing the new products to be released at the conference, including Pixel 8 series, Pixel Watch 2 and the new Pixel Buds Pro headphones.
In the warm-up video released today, Google only showed the coral color (pink) Pixel 8 and sand color Pixel 8 Pro models.
Igeekphone previously reported that Google will launch two combinations of 128GB and 256GB for Pixel 8 in the European market, a total of four colors of hazel, black, rose red and mint green.
128GB will cost €874.25 (including 23% VAT) and €710.77 excluding tax
The 256GB will cost 949.30 euros (including 23% VAT) and 771.79 euros excluding tax.
Google will offer 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options for the Pixel 8 Pro, with Bay (I’m not sure what color that is), black, porcelain white, and mint green.
128GB is priced at €1,235.72 (including 23% VAT) and €1,004.65 excluding tax
The 256GB will cost €1,309.95 (including 23% VAT) and €1,065 excluding tax.
512GB is priced at €1,461.24 (including 23% VAT) and €1,188 excluding tax.
The Pixel 8 Pro will be priced with a Tensor G3 processor, and the front will have a 6.7-inch Samsung OLED display with a resolution of 2992×1344, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of 1600nits (not sure if it’s peak brightness). Pixel density 490PPI.
In terms of imaging, Google Pixel 8 Pro rear 50 million pixel GN2 main camera + 64 million pixel IMX787 ultra-wide Angle lens + 48 million pixel GM5 telephoto lens, front 10.8 million pixel 3J1 lens.
Pixel Watch 2
According to the device catalog page, Pixel Watch 2 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chip, compared to the original Exynos 9110, there will be a significant upgrade in performance.
In terms of memory, the Pixel Watch 2 will retain 2GB of RAM. The screen will feature a circular 1.2-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 383 x 384 pixels and a screen density of 320 ppi.
In terms of system, Pixel Watch 2 is equipped with WearOS 4 system based on Android 13. Notably, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are the first Wear OS 4 smartwatches.
The Pixel Watch 2 comes in three models, G4TSL, GC368, and GD2WG. Among them, the G4TSL is a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi enabled model with four strap options: plastic activity, metal mesh, metal chain, and metal thin.
Pixel Buds Pro
Google held a press conference on October 4 this year, in addition to the launch of the Pixel 8 series of smartphones, it will also bring Porcelain and Sky Blue two colors to the Pixel Buds Pro headset.
