igeekphone August 23 news, the current Android system has a seamless experience when sharing web screenshots, but the URL needs to be copied and shared separately. It is reported that the future Android 14 will combine screenshots and urls into one item, which is easy for users to share.
Android expert Mishaal Rahman revealed on his Patreon account that Google is working on a feature that will automatically attach links to web pages when screenshots are shared.
Rahman also showed a video in which the URL was automatically added to the screenshot’s share menu (see the screenshot at the top of this article). “This feature uses the same API as the URL sharing feature on Pixel and Asus phones, which means it’s compatible with apps like Chrome and YouTube,” Rahman explained. IT House noted that Asus and Google phones can get and share links to web pages in the Recent Apps menu.
It is not clear if this feature will be available in Android 14 core version or in a later version such as Android 14 QPR1.
