On the last day of the exhibition, HAN, the brand manager of e-cigarette brand ReFRE5H, was interviewed by two supremacists.
Research and development and presentation of local flavours
HAN explained their research and development process in detail. ReFRE5H has conducted an extensive survey of e-cigarette users in Indonesia over the past year and looked at local flavours in Indonesia.
It believes that incorporating local flavors into its products, such as cold tea, pandan, lemonade ice and passion fruit ice, can bring users a unique experience.
In addition, the price of the product is also considered and adjusted according to the price of disposable cigarette bombs already available in the Indonesian market. ReFRE5H is well aware of the impact of taxes on product prices and therefore takes this factor into account when determining prices.
Unique marketing strategy
In the Indonesian e-cigarette market, HAN emphasizes the role of retail, and currently its products have entered ten shopping malls in Jakarta, and are still expanding.
In addition, HAN said ReFRE5H has distributors all over the country, from Aceh to Papua, who sell their products by telling stories and more related to the e-cigarette experience.
While they also sell on online platforms such as Tokopedia, Shopee and Blibli, they say offline sales still account for the majority.
Regulatory policy and future prospects
As far as regulatory policies in Indonesia are concerned, the brand manager of ReFRE5H believes that the regulation to limit milliliters of liquid is beneficial. This restriction helps to stabilize the market flow, while also making it possible to control the market through tax adjustments in the future. He said that for disposable e-cigarette merchants, such regulations can maintain the balance of the market.
Regarding the development prospects of the e-cigarette market in Indonesia, the brand manager of ReFRE5H said that more and more young people want to have simple and uncomplicated habits, which will trigger their transition to disposable e-cigarettes. ReFRE5H is optimistic about the prospects of the market, especially in the context of the continuous influx of disposable small tobacco products into the Indonesian market.
Regarding future growth plans, REFRESH’s brand manager said that they will adopt a strategy of gradual expansion. They will gradually introduce different lines of Indonesian flavors to bring more diverse choices to consumers.
