Xiaomi demonstrated stable performance in the first half of the year. In Q1, the company emerged as the top Android manufacturer in mainland China’s smartphone sales for the price range of RMB 4,000-5,000, experiencing a year-on-year market share increase of 24.1%. Moreover, the proportion of high-end smartphones priced at RMB 3,000 and above in the Chinese mainland market rose by four percentage points year-on-year. Xiaomi has exciting plans, with the expected launch of Mi 14 scheduled for the end of November. Leading up to this, In Xiaomi Press Conference will introduce Mi MIX Fold 3 and Redmi K60 Ultra from August to November to cater to market demand and popularity.

Mi MIX Fold 3
Xiaomi has partnered with Leica to enable folding images and introduced Leica four-cameras with various focal lengths. This time, they achieved an innovative hardware stack, further miniaturizing the flagship module, ensuring a lightweight and comfortable folding mobile phone.
The device is expected to feature a white curved glass body, a 3.2X portrait center focus and a 5X periscope telephoto among its rear four cameras. It supports 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging, providing enhanced communication capabilities. The water drop hinge improves anti-drop performance while maintaining a thin and light body.
Mi MIX Fold 3 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 mobile platform, delivering robust performance. Users can expect 1TB of storage space and 12GB of storage capacity.
Redmi K60 Ultra
Redmi K60 Ultra adopts a design similar to Mi 13, featuring a straight screen with four equal-width sides, a straight-sided middle frame, and a slightly curved-edge back panel. Its 1.5K 144Hz centered hole-digging linear screen, narrow screen frame, and right angles contribute to a visually appealing design.
Equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9200+, the device offers a 10% overall performance improvement and an 11% increase in energy efficiency compared to Dimensity 9200. The gaming experience is optimized, and rumors exist about including something similar to an independent display chip.
Other features include 120W fast charging, a 5000mAh battery, short-focus screen fingerprints, infrared, NFC, X-axis, and dual speakers. The device is expected to provide storage options of up to 16GB + 1TB.
MIUI 15
MIUI 15, with version number V23, adopts rounded rectangle-shaped icons with large arcs, a departure from the rounded rectangle shape used in previous versions. The system will introduce the Material You design language, offering a more personalized and adaptive experience, allowing users to redraw icons, adjust colors, shapes, and even microscopic details.
MIUI 15 is currently in adaptation testing, and a list of models set to receive the update includes:
- Xiaomi: Mi 11 series, Mi 12 series, Mi 13 series, Mi Civi series, Mi MIX Fold series, Mi MIX 4, Mi Pad 6 series, and more;
- Redmi: Redmi Note 11 series, Redmi Note 12 series, Redmi K40 series, Redmi K50 series, Redmi K60 series, and more.
