According to sammobile, Samsung has launched a 98-inch 8K Neo QLED TV in South Korea, model QNC990, priced at 49.9 million won (Currently about 278,000 yuan).
According to reports, Samsung’s 98-inch Neo QLED TV has 8K resolution, uses Mini LED panels, and supports HDR10, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10+ Gaming, HLG, and other functions. In addition, this TV supports a 144Hz variable refresh rate and supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. It also has an anti-glare coating to reduce glare and reflections from light sources.
Audio-wise, the Samsung 98-inch 8K Neo features a 6.4.4-channel speaker setup with an audio output of 120W, support for Dolby Atmos Wireless, Q-Symphony 3.0, Object Tracking Sound, Adaptive Sound+, and Active Voice Amplifier.
In terms of configuration, the TV uses Samsung’s Neo Quantum Processor 8K chip, runs the Tizen 7.0 operating system, and supports functions such as Bixby, Samsung Gaming Hub, Samsung TV Plus, Samsung Health, SmartThings Hub, Game Bar 3.0, and Super Ultrawide Game View. Interfaces include four HDMI 2.1, USB, an optical output, an RF, and more.
