At 01:00 am Beijing time, Apple held its WWDC23 developer conference, where it unveiled iOS 17, new Mac and other new products, as well as its new watchOS 10 system.
WatchOS 10 brings a new way to quickly view information from any watch face. Just turn the crown to see smart stacks of widgets, including weather forecasts and news headlines.
In addition, the color of the time component changes over time, such as darkening at night.
On the watchOS 10, there are three new layers of dials with different shades of color that change over time, as well as a Snoopy dynamic dial that synchronously reflects on the watch face if the wearer is in rainy weather. It’s fun.
For exercise, watchOS 10 allows for more detailed exercise data. While cycling, it can monitor the body status to display the movement interval in real time and remind you of your current workout performance. Data can also be displayed on a connected iPhone.
When the user is on foot, watchOS 10 records where the user leaves the signal area, reducing the chance of accidents.
Notably, the new watchOS 10 incorporates an altimeter and can also generate elevation maps.
On the health front, watchOS 10 adds a new focus on mental health, a self-test for depression and anxiety, and alerts when you get too close to the screen to reduce the risk of myopia.
