Nothing has previously confirmed that Nothing Phone (2) will be released soon and officially available in July. Last night, Nothing officially confirmed the screen size and battery capacity of Nothing Phone (2).
The Nothing Phone (2) will have a display 0.15 inches larger than its predecessor’s and a 200 mah battery capacity, meaning it will have a 6.7-inch display and a 4,700mah battery, according to the company.
The official also said that Nothing Phone (2) has a certified carbon emission of 53.45kg, more than 5kg lower than the previous generation of mobile phones, and the overall production process is greener and low-carbon.
As previously reported by igeekphone, the Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and is expected to come in three storage combinations: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. Its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (1), has sold 750,000 units worldwide since its release last October.
In a previous interview with Forbes magazine, founder Yu Pei revealed that Nothing Phone (2) will launch in the US at the same time as the rest of the world in July, as the US market is critical to Nothing’s success. By contrast, last year Nothing Phone (1) arrived in the United States months after its global launch.
