According to the latest report, Google will hold the 2023 I/O conference on May 10. In addition to the new generation of the Pixel 8 series, it will also bring the Pixel Fold. As the press conference approached, Google also officially announced the Pixel Fold and showed its shape design.
It can be seen that Google Pixel Fold inherits the design style of the Pixel series. The image part on the back adopts a long strip-shaped protrusion, with three built-in lenses. The frame is very round, and the grip should be more comfortable.
According to reports, its three-camera parameters are a 64MP primary camera (IMX787), a 10.8MP telephoto camera (S5K3J1), and a 12MP wide-angle camera (IMX386).
At the same time, the outer screen uses a 5.8-inch OLED screen, and the inner screen is a 7.6-inch OLED screen. Both screens support a refresh rate of 120Hz. In addition, the new folding phone will be equipped with its own Tensor G2 chip and a dedicated Titan M2 security chipset and will be equipped with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Google plans to start the pre-order activity for Pixel Fold after the official release on May 10, and it is expected to ship at the end of June.
