Xiaomi last night officially unveiled the Mi 13 Ultra, which starts at 5,999 yuan and features a full-focus Leica quad lens and a new generation Summicon lens, thus firmly entrenched itself as the king of Android images.
The Mi 13 Ultra has just been sold, and many people haven’t got their new phones yet. Xiaomi’s system optimization is also accelerating. In less than 24 hours, two OTA updates to MIUI14 have been released, which focus on optimizing camera performance.
The first patch MIUI 14.0.7.0 has a capacity of up to 6.5GB. In addition to 2 Google security patches, the camera optimizations are as follows:
The default zoom for Street shot mode is set to 1.5X
The fixed focusing distance in street shot mode is adjusted to 0.6m/1.2m/5m
Tonight, Xiaomi has updated the MIUI 14.0.8.0 patch for the Mi 13 Ultra with a much smaller capacity of 87MB, but officials strongly recommend upgrading to the latest version, which will bring a better experience, more stable system and better shooting quality.
There are three major upgrades, as follows:
Optimize the picture quality of some scenes and improve the quality of photos
The default zoom for Street shot mode is set to 1.5X
The fixed focusing distance in street shot mode is adjusted to 0.6m/1.2m/5m
This patch is supposed to integrate the previous patches, but the focus is also on improving the image quality.
Given that Xiaomi has been so diligent in upgrading its system, the first thing a new player will do is connect to the Internet and upgrade well, ensuring that the latest system brings photo optimization.
