Google has released Android N OS in August 2016, right now more and more smartphone manufacturers are busy with upgrading their phones with Android N, as you know there are some Xiaomi smartphones which have been upgraded to Android N, and Huawei also is the first Chinese manufacturer of smartphones to release EMUI 5.0 based on Android 7.0 OS. Right now we will share with you about how to install Android N on your smartphones by this common method.
Note: Your device needs to be bootloader unlocked.
Here is the step by step guideline to install Android Nougat on any Android:
Step 1: First you need to download the Android Nougat based ROM for your device. To download the ROM, go to Google and type your device name followed by XDA [For example Xiaomi Mi 5 XDA]. This will show XDA thread related to your devices. Visit the first link and find your desire Android Nougat based ROM. See the below video for clear understanding.
Step 2: The GAPPS file. Because custom does not come with pre-installed Google Apps. Click here to download GAPPS.
Step 3: You need to install TWRP recovery on your device. If you already installed TWRP recovery, then you can skip this step.

Step 4: Once you are done with above step above mentioned steps then reboot your device into TWRP recovery.
Step 5: Do a backup of current ROM so that you revert to your previous ROM in the case of any kind of damages.
Step 6: Once your backup is done go back and click on Wipe to wipe the system partition and make your device ready for the ROM installation.
Step 7: Return to recovery main menu window and click on “Install”. Now navigate to the downloaded ROM file and choose it. Then press “Add more Zip” and choose the GAPPS package. Then swipe the blue button to start flashing. Be careful that, first you have to choose ROM Zip then GAPPS package.
The whole process can take 5-10 minutes. Wait for the completion and Reboot the device when flashing is finished.
