On March 23, 2023, Nothing, a company co-founded by OnePlus co-founder Pei Yu, announced the launch of their new wireless earbuds – the Nothing’s Ear (2) TWS. These earphones resemble their predecessor, the Ear (1), but with significant improvements in sound quality.
While the exterior design has not been drastically altered, Nothing has focused on enhancing and optimizing the interior of the Ear (2) based on user feedback from the Ear (1). One of the upgrades includes the active noise reduction feature, which now offers an even better sound quality experience. Moreover, the Ear (2) introduces an Adaptive Transparency feature that automatically adjusts noise reduction according to ambient sound conditions, similar to the AirPods Pro 2.
Regarding sound quality, Nothing Ear2 has received Hi-Res Audio certification and LHDC 5.0, a low-latency audio codec that delivers a better sound experience to the wearer. The earbuds also boast an 11.6mm driver unit and a “dual chamber” design for smoother airflow and better sound quality.
Regarding battery life, the Ear (2) can last up to 36 hours on a full charge when the charging box is used, and active noise reduction is turned off. Moreover, the earbuds have passed the IP54 waterproof standard, making them resilient against sweat and water damage.
Nothing Ear (2) TWS wireless earbuds have been designed to give users a superior listening experience. With enhanced sound quality, advanced noise reduction features, and extended battery life, these earphones are an excellent choice for anyone who appreciates high-quality audio and wants to stay connected on the go.
