The EMAX Babyhawk is a 85mm machine with 1104/5000Kv motors. The design is kinda weird, since it comes with an unprotected cloverleaf antenna. The flight controller is a Femto micro F3, equipped with STM32F303 CPU and MPU9250. The version that I found at Gearbest is a PNP (Plug N Play) version which does not include battery, transmitter or receiver. The AIO FPV camera is a 520TVL CMOS, with 5.8G 40CH 25mW to 200mW, adjusted according to the situation and the flying environment. Despite the peculiar design, the flight is very precise, controlled by the 1104 5250KV high RPM brushless motors and Bullet Series DShot ESCs.
The size of the Babyhawk is 132 x 132 x 48mm, with a wheelbase of 85mm. The propeller is a TS2345 tri-blade, which if you take notice, is well captured on the motor. With full configuration, prop guards installed the machine will reach 86g…kinda heavy for indoor flying. The question is, if it goes outside, will these small propellers hold it steady and up in the air?
The Babyhawk is equipped with a 300mAh battery and 2S cells.
The EMAX Babyhawk is a weird looking little guy. Well as a racing drone, is normal. Comes with some very good specs for racing. If you want to try it out, you can go over to Gearbest and using our coupon code GB9%, you will be able to order it for only $91.91!
