Jailbreaking team palera1n has released a new jailbreaking tool for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The new tool, rewritten in C, greatly improves software stability and optimizes the jailbreak experience. You can check jailbreak ios 16.3.1 here.
iGeekphone Tips:
The palera1n jailbreak is based on checkm8, a bug discovered back in 2019. The bug is considered “unfixable” because it was discovered in Apple’s bootrom for bionic chips from the A5 to the A11. Of course, Apple could change other parts of the system to prevent hackers from exploiting the flaw, but the company cannot implement a permanent fix on older devices.
Devices supported in this jailbreak include:
iPhone SE
iPhone 6 / iPhone 6 Plus
iPhone 6s / iPhone 6 Plus
iPhone 7 / iPhone 7 Plus
iPhone 8 / iPhone 8 Plus
iPhone X
iPod touch 6
iPod touch 7
iPad mini 4
iPad Air 2
iPad 5
iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2015)
iPad Pro 9.7-inch (2016)
iPad 6
iPad 7
iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2nd generation, 2017)
iPad Pro 10.5-inch (2017)
New jailbreak tool update log:
The password A10 (X) is supported
Can automatically adjust the execution like checkrain! (This means you no longer need to click “Execute All” from the loader.)
Loader updated to support rootless and roottul, which will change dynamically based on the jailbreak type you selected in paleraln-c
If you have already installed the jailbreak program, Loader will no longer show the install button
palerain-c does not require an Internet connection after the initial download
No virtual disks need to be created, no gaster or pyimg4 need to be installed
It still takes about 10 minutes to create fakeFS, but this is done on a device rather than a computer, so you’ll have a better chance of success.
Further reduce software size (less than 7MB)
