Apple has released its users the latest iOS 16.3.1 and iPadOS 16.3.1 updates (internal version number 20D67). This update follows 21 days after the previous release.
However, it is essential to mention that there may be a slight delay in detecting the upgrade updates in some regions due to a configuration cache issue with Apple’s servers. This delay is usually not more than half an hour.
The official version of iOS 16.3.1 includes optimizations for the car accident detection feature on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models. Additionally, this update brings bug fixes and security updates for the iPhone, such as resolving the issue where iCloud settings may become unresponsive or display incorrectly when the app is using iCloud and fixing the problem where Siri’s “Find Me” request may not work.
For the iPad, the official version of iPadOS 16.3.1 brings bug fixes and security updates, including resolving the issue where iCloud settings may become unresponsive or display incorrectly when the app is using iCloud and fixing the problem where Siri’s Find My request might not work.
In the previous release of iOS 16.3, which was on January 24, Apple introduced several new features, including a new “Unity” wallpaper that celebrates Black History Month, advanced data protection for iCloud, Apple ID security keys, and more.
