The Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition features a 4300mAh battery that can be charged to 66% in 5 minutes and 100% in about nine minutes. The folks at Charger Labs tested the phone to verify the claim. In their tests, the phone was found to take about 10 minutes and 10 seconds to fully charge. The maximum charging output recorded was 184W, while the peak temperature was as high as 43.3 degrees Celsius.
2.iQOO 10 Pro (13 minutes and 30 seconds to fully charge, charging rate: 348mAh per minute)
A few months ago, the iQOO 10 Pro was the fastest-charging phone in the world, but it has now slipped to second place. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset paired with a dedicated V1 Plus (ISP). You can get the iQOO 10 Pro in three options, with the top model boasting 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage.
The iQOO 10 Pro sports a triple camera setup at the rear with a 50MP GN5 primary sensor, a 50MP secondary lens with 150-degree FOV, and a 14.6MP sensor with up to 40x digital zoom. On the front, it has a 16MP camera for selfies.
iQOO 10 Pro brings 200W fast charging, and it is estimated that the 4700mAh battery can be fully charged in 10 minutes. According to charging tests conducted by several YouTuber authors, iQOO’s statement is not true. In the real world, the smartphone takes about 13 minutes and 30 seconds — 3 minutes more than the self-published time. Of course, this is already very shocking.
3. Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro (18 minutes to fully charge, charging rate: 277mAh per minute)
The Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro is the only gaming phone to make the list of the fastest-charging phones. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The phone has a dedicated Red Core 1 gaming chip that improves gaming-related tasks. In terms of cameras, the phone features a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
The Red Magic 7 Pro packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 135W charging — but the company only includes a 65W charger in the box. In charging tests, it was found that the phone can be fully charged in about 18 minutes using a supported charger.
4. OnePlus 10R (18 minutes to fully charge, charging rate: 250mAh per minute)
OnePlus has entered the ultra-fast charging arena with the OnePlus 10R. The phone supports 150W charging, which according to OnePlus can fully charge your phone in about 17 minutes. The phone was able to fully charge the 4500mAh battery in about 18 minutes in multiple tests.
The OnePlus 10R model is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset clocked at 2.85GHz. The phone features a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
5. OnePlus 10T (19 minutes to fully charge, charging rate: 252mAh per minute)
The OnePlus 10T, unlike the OnePlus 10R, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. 7. Trueme GT Neo 3 (close to 19 minutes to fully charge, charging rate: 237mAh per minute)
The Realme GT Neo 3 is the world’s first commercial smartphone to use 150W fast charging. It was demonstrated at Mobile World Congress 2022 and released a few months later. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset clocked at 2.8GHz. It packs up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. At the rear, there is a 50MP triple camera system and a 16MP selfie camera.
The Realme GT Neo 3 uses UltraDart charging to recharge the 4500mAh battery inside. It is claimed that the phone can be fully charged in about 17 minutes using a 150W charger. The charging time from 0 to 100% came in close to 19 minutes in actual use, which is pretty close to what the company claims.
8.iQOO 9 Pro (20 minutes to fully charge, charging rate: 235mAh per minute)
The iQOO 9 Pro was released earlier this year with top-of-the-line hardware. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The phone features a 50MP Samsung Isocell GN5 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 16MP portrait lens with 2.5x optical zoom.
The phone is one of the fastest among phones with 120W charging. It charges the 4700mAh capacity battery in about 20 minutes.
