After months of leaks, Xiaomi has confirmed that POCO X5 Pro will officially launch overseas at 5.30pm on February 6, with a basic version available in some regions.
According to a trailer released by Flipkart, the new device will feature Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, captain of the Gujrat Taitains IPL team, as the brand ambassador and spokesman.
From the previous revelations, POCO X5 5G is equivalent to Redmi Note 12 5G (Snapdragon 4 Gen1), which has been previously released in China. It is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip, has 8GB memory, and runs Android 12.
POCO X5 Pro, the domestic equivalent of Redmi Note 12 Pro superspeed, will be released globally.
The phone features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G CPU and an Adreno 642L GPU, Available in 6 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 128 GB, and 8 GB + 256 GB versions.
In other news, this model will have a 108MP main camera + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro lens, a 16MP front-facing lens, a 5000mAh battery and 67W quick-charge support.

According to the leaks, POCO X5 Pro will be priced between InR 21,000 (currently around RMB1,745) and InR 23,000 (currently around RMB1,1911) and will be available in 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage versions.
