Moto has launched two models overseas today, the G13 and G23, which are positioned lower. The price starts at 1,799.99 euros (about 1,327 yuan).
Both phones use the MediaTek G85 4G chip released in 2020, and their main differences lie in charging specifications, memory capacity, and imaging systems. MediaTek G85 4G chip, based on TSMC’s 12nm process, has two 2.0GHz Cortex-A75 cores and six 1.8GHz Cortex-A55 cores, supports up to LPDDR4X 1800MHz memory and eMMC 5.1 specification flash memory, and belongs to the entry-level processor.
The Moto G13 comes with 4GB of RAM, while the Moto G23 comes in 4GB and 8GB versions.
In terms of charging and battery life, the two new phones are equipped with 5000mAh capacity batteries, while the G13 supports up to 20W wired fast charging, and the G23 supports up to 30W wired fast charging .In terms of imaging, the Moto G13 has two rear cameras, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The ultra-wide-angle camera is abandoned and a single depth sensor is used instead.
The G23 uses a 50-megapixel main camera + 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle + 2-megapixel macro camera, the latter is more practical. For the front camera, the Moto G23 has a 16-megapixel selfie camera, while the G13 has an 8-megapixel camera.
In terms of price, the Moto G13 starts at 179.99 euros (about 1327 yuan), and the G23 starts at 199.99 euros (about 1474 yuan). Taken together, these two phones are mainly aimed at low-consumption groups.
