After Qualcomm announced the launch of the new wearable device chip Snapdragon W5 / W5 + in July last year, Mobvoi took the lead in confirming that its next generation of smartwatches will be equipped with Qualcomm’s new wearable chip. Although it has not yet been officially named, whistleblower Kuba Wojciechowski released a rendering of the so-called “Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 5” watch, which is expected to skip the number “4” naming.
As we can see in the shared image, the new wearable features a crown with a rotating dial and flush buttons. Aside from the layout change, the design of the case retains the overall shape of the previous TicWatch Pro model, including the knurled texture around the bezel. The strap also appears to be made of hard silicone. The watch will have a built-in Wear OS 3 system.
According to the whistleblower, the new Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 5 will be released to the public soon. It was previously announced that the next generation of TicWatch Pro will be launched, but the specific details are unknown.
