Today, Mediatek officially released a new SoC, Helio P25. In terms of name, we can see it will be the upgraded version of Helio P20, the biggest feature is to add a couple of 12bit ISP support. Check more details about the highlight.
1.High-level resolution: support 24MP single camera or 13MP+13MP dual camera.
2.Optimized dual camera: it will have color+black/white smart dual rear camera and real-time depth of field with the de-noising function.
3.High dynamic range image: support real-time previeew HDR video
4.High performance automatic exposion: 3A hardware engine upgrading, exposure time reduces 30% to 55%.
Helio P25 still use 16nm architecture, which claims the power consumption reduced 25% than last generation, the specs has Octa core Cortex A53. Big core has 2.5GHz frequency. GPU is Mali-T880 MP2 same as Helio P20, 900MHz, supporting up to RAM 6GB LPDDR4X.
In addition, Mediatek also claims that Helio P25 seems to improve 200MHz in main frequency, and ISP has changed, as for other aspects, there is no change. In addition, it’s said that Meizu new product with Helio P25 processor is on the road, stay tuned.
