The official public version of Android 13 and One UI 5.0 for the Galaxy S22 series has accelerated. According to the Samsung One UI 5.0 schedule, a small number of Galaxy devices will be updated before 2023.
Samsung began rolling out the official One UI 5.0 update to the Galaxy S21 series today, after some beta testing to give customers the opportunity to provide feedback so Samsung can iron out any bugs or issues before releasing stable firmware.
The update was first pushed to the European region, but it is expected to expand to other countries and regions soon. Several countries in the European region have been updated.
To check if the Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, or Galaxy S21 Ultra (the S21 FE may get the update separately) gets Android 13, open the phone’s Settings app, select Software Update, and tap Download & Install. Updates may not show up right away, so be sure to keep checking in the next few hours.
