The XT2301-5 has been licensed for the upcoming moto X40, which will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen2 flagship processor, and is expected to take the lead.

Igeekphone learned that Snapdragon 8 Gen2 uses 1+3+4 CPU architecture, the medium and large core is Cortex X3, the large core is Cortex A715, the small core is Cortex A510, the frequency is 3.36GHz, 2.8GHz, and 2.02GHz, respectively. The GPU is Adreno 740, which is expected to see a 10% increase in CPU performance, a 15% increase in energy efficiency, a 20% increase in GPU, up to a 50% increase in AI performance, and a major ISP upgrade.
