A Xiaomi phone with the model 2210129SG was certified by the FCC in September. Later, it also appeared in the Singapore IMDA and European EEC certification platforms. Now, the same device has appeared in the IMEI database with the name Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE.
Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE is expected to be a revamped or tweaked version of the China-exclusive Xiaomi Civi 2 (model 2209129SC). As the Mi 12 Lite 5G NE has already received some important certifications, the device is expected to be available by the end of this month.
Mi 12 Lite 5G NE’s FCC certification shows that it comes in three configurations. 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. It offers connectivity features such as 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS and NFC. The device will most likely come pre-installed with the MIUI 13 operating system, which is based on Android 13. The IMDA and EEC lists do not reveal any major information about the device’s specifications.
Xiaomi Civi 2 has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with curved edges, Igeekphone has learned. It offers FHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It has front 32 megapixel + 32 megapixel dual selfie camera. The rear 50 megapixel main camera, 20 megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, and 2 megapixel macro camera.
Xiaomi Civi 2 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The built-in 4500mAh battery supports 67W fast charging.

It should be noted that in July, Xiaomi 12 Lite International Edition was released with Snapdragon 778G chip, based on 6nm architecture, with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone features a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Horizon.
