LG unveiled a new 32-inch 4K smart display that supports Apple’s AirPlay 2 wireless projection screen, 65W USB-C connectivity, and ThinQ Home for controlling smart home accessories.
LG 4K 60Hz display is powered by webOS, the software that also comes pre-installed on LG smart TVS. It runs a variety of streaming apps, such as Netflix and Hulu, as well as a smart home dashboard for controlling connected smart accessories.
The display also supports AirPlay 2, an updated version of Apple’s network protocol for transferring audio or video from one Apple device to another over the network. Specifically, AirPlay 2 lets people stream audio to multiple devices at once.
Users can use AirPlay 2 with an LG smart display to mirror an iPhone or Mac display, stream video from compatible apps, and transfer audio to the display’s two 5W stereo speakers.
Here are LG Display specs:
Weight: 24.5 pounds (11.123 kg)
Size: 16.1 “x 28.1″ x 25.5”
Color: White
Voltage: 240V AC
iGeekphone has learned that the display uses the Ergo stand, an ergonomic stand from LG that allows users to position it to a preferred height, angle and distance for a comfortable viewing experience.
It can be extended and retracted from zero to 180 millimeters, or just over 7 inches, with a total rotation of about 280 degrees and a rotation of 90 degrees to either horizontal or vertical positions. The tilt range is about 25 degrees, and one can adjust the height of the display from zero to 130mm.
