Google plans to launch a foldable smartphone in 2023, which may be named Pixel Fold or Felix. It is understood that the device will have a design similar to OPPO’s Find N, and the screen will use a display made by Samsung.
Among them, the inner screen has a resolution of 1840 x 2208, a size of 123mmx148mm, a peak brightness of 1200 nits, an average brightness of 800 nits, and supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
In addition, Google’s First Folding Phone may have three cameras on the back, including a 64-megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX787 sensor. A 12-megapixel IMX386 ultra-wide-angle lens and an S5K3J1 telephoto lens. The internal screen will also be equipped with an 8-megapixel IMX355.
It is worth noting that the Android 13 system launched by Google has been specially optimized for large-screen devices such as folding screens and tablets, including taskbar, multitasking, keyboard and mouse support, and application compatibility.
At present, the Google’s First Folding Phone has not been officially confirmed by Google. There are reports that the Pixel Fold will be released before March 2023.
