Google has announced that it will hold an event on October 6 at 23:00 Beijing time to unveil the Pixel 7 / Pro phone line and a number of new accessories. As we approach the launch, more and more leaks are coming out about Google’s Pixel 7 / Pro line of phones. Today, a source has the latest revelations.
According to 91Mobiles today, source Yogesh Brar says Google Pixel 7 Pro phone will feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz refresh rate QHD + resolution screen with LTPO support. For performance, the Pixel 7 Pro will have 12GB of Tensor G2 mobile storage and 128/256GB of storage. It will have Android 13 pre-loaded.
In terms of battery life, Google Pixel 7 Pro has a built-in 5,000mah battery with a 30W fast charge. On the image front, Google’s Pixel 7 Pro has an 11-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The three rear cameras are a 50-megapixel master lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens. The 48-megapixel telephoto lens is likely a Samsung GM1 sensor, rather than the SONY IMX586 sensor found in Google’s Pixel 6 Pro phones.
As previously reported by igeekphone, Google Pixel 7 Pro has made an appearance on the Geekbench running platform. Google Pixel 7 Pro for Tensor G2 has 1,068 cores and 3,149 cores. The previous generation Pixel 6 Pro had a CPU score of around 1,050 for a single core and 2,750 for a multi-core, a modest improvement.
Additionally, Google Pixel 7/7 Pro has been certified by the FCC, which shows that it supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, and NFC capabilities. Previous leaks revealed that Google’s Pixel 7 series, which will feature a 2K flexible screen, will be available for pre-order starting October 6 and on sale October 13.
