On the evening of September 8, Insta360 officially released its Insta360 X3 panoramic motion camera, priced at 2,998 yuan, $434.
Insta360 X3 is equipped with a new 1/2″ 48 megapixel sensor on the front and back, which can capture more vivid and delicate 5.7K panoramic videos with less noise and better night performance.
It also takes 72-megapixel panoramic photos, supports 360-degree motion HDR video, and can capture panoramic time-lapse video at a groundbreaking 8K resolution, with a new bullet time of 4K 120fps.
When shooting with a single lens, X3 can not only shoot ultra-clear wide-angle video with a maximum of 4K 30fps, but also obtain extremely wide-angle picture of 2.7K 170° at extremely wide gear. The 4K single-lens mode allows the X3 to record sports highlights from a first-person perspective, just like a regular motion camera.
The X3 is equipped with a 2.29″ super large toughened glass touch screen, which can play back photos and videos on a large screen without connecting to a mobile phone, and greatly improve the operation experience of the touch interface. There are also more simple buttons for vibration feedback.
The X3 also supports 360° motion HDR, designed for video shooting in panoramic mode. Traditional HDR is not suitable for fast-moving scenes, and the picture in the highlight area will be shaken, while 360° motion HDR can not only retain more details of highlights and shadows, but also provide super stability effect for the picture. It can also be used to record daily life.
