Vivo is gearing up to launch a new foldable device soon in China. Earlier this year, the company launched the X Fold, and now, the company is preparing to launch the Vivo X Fold S. But ahead of the launch, a popular tipster, Digital Chat Station on Weibo claims the name of Vivo’s new generation of folding Smartphones may be changed from X Fold S to Vivo X Fold Plus.

Recently, he also sheds some light on the specifications of the device. Accordinly, the foldable will come with a 2K primary LTPO display coupled with a 1Hz-120Hz refresh rate based on the content. The Vivo X Fold S is said to come with a 4700mAh battery, 80W wired fast charging, and 50W wireless charging support as well. The leakster says the phone would come with a GaN charger in the box.
Moving to optics, the foldable is tipped to feature a quad camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary, 48MP ultra-wide-angle, 12MP telephoto, and 8MP periscopic sensors. While on the front, it will house a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. The device is also said to have a new bright red plain leather body.
The exact launch date of the forthcoming foldable is yet to be revealed, however, it has been spotted on Geekbench and 3C certifications, hinting that the device may arrive soon.
