OnePlus released its annual flagship OnePlus 10T overseas earlier this month, and the corresponding national version of the phone is the OnePlus Ace Pro.
Last week, the OnePlus 10T underwent a series of durability tests from the well-known YouTube channel JerryRigEverything, but the phone failed the bend test. In response, the company responded that the OnePlus 10T has been fully tested before it goes on sale.
In a statement sent to Gadgets 360, OnePlus said, “The OnePlus 10T meets or exceeds all of OnePlus’ extensive durability testing procedures, including stress testing, in which the device is suspended while on its front and back. Center-applied weight. The OnePlus 10T has enhanced structural engineering to withstand forces in excess of 45kg in this test in OnePlus Labs .”
JerryRigEverything’s bending test, the plastic frame of the OnePlus 10T leaked under pressure, and the break occurred under the camera module and above the battery. The phone seems to last longer than the OnePlus 10 Pro, but the break still occurs in the same area where the OnePlus 10 Pro broke.
Testing showed that the phone’s internal layout didn’t adequately account for this flex, or that the company’s “enhanced structural engineering” still wasn’t enough to pass the flex test.

It is worth mentioning that the bend test is a bit extreme compared to the real-world scene, but it still illustrates some of the lack of body strength of the OnePlus10T and OnePlus 10 Pro, because, like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, Google Pixel 6 Pro and other new machines can pass the bending test.
