Xiaomi officially issued an announcement that from October 31, 2022, the following models will stop the development version of the internal beta: Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Edition, Redmi K30S Extreme Edition, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi 10X, Redmi 10X Pro, Redmi K30 Extreme Edition, Redmi Note 9.
In addition, the Redmi K50 e-sports version has been recruited through the MIUI development version based on Android 13, and it is expected to start testing around mid-to-late August.
MIUI is based on Android 13, MIUI will focus on two versions, the “development version” and the “official version”. The MIUI development version will continue to be updated weekly, and the official version will be updated based on user usage. Xiaomi also promised that the development version and the official version will gradually realize switching between versions without clearing data.

Xiaomi said that new features and optimizations will be released as a development version first, and the product experience will be updated iteratively, with reliable functions and stability, and then released as an official version. Xiaomi will issue the “Development Edition Internal Beta Commemorative Virtual Medal” to users who have always supported MIUI.
