Today, blogger @digital Chat suggested that xiaomi’s small screen flagship, powered by Qualcomm’s second-generation Snapdragon 8 (codenamed SM8550) flagship processor, is on the way, with the same screen shape and lens alignment as the larger version. This could be the rumored Mi 13, which will be xiaomi’s flagship with a small screen in 2023.
Previously, @digitchat revealed that the mi 13 series, codenamed M2, is in rapid progress and may debut at the end of the year, just like mi 11 and Mi 12 series.
It’s powered by the second generation of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 flagship processor, manufactured by TSMC, which is more powerful than its predecessor and performs better than the Snapdragon 8+.
According to sources, Qualcomm’s second generation Snapdragon 8 is based on TSMC’s 4nm process and adopts the new “1+2+2+3” eight-core architecture design. Compared with the “1+3+4” architecture of Snapdragon 8+, the former has one more large core and one less small core.
