Huawei’s Mate 50 series, which was supposed to debut last year, is finally here.
Huawei’s Mate 50 series is expected to launch in August and may include a Snapdragon 8+ version, but currently it’s powered by Snapdragon 8. As it doesn’t support 5G, huawei’s Mate 50 series is also expected to debut in Snapdragon 8+ 4G.
As qualcomm’s strongest Snapdragon processor so far, the Snapdragon 8+ Cortex-X2 supercore has a maximum frequency of 3.2ghz, with improved performance and greatly optimized power consumption. According to the company, CPU power consumption is about 30% lower than the Snapdragon 8, GPU power consumption is up to 30% lower, and overall platform power consumption is about 15% lower than the Snapdragon 8.
In addition, the blogger also revealed that the new Mate 50 series of images will bring the computational photography enhanced version of the main image pairing, image quality and Huawei’s own optimization capabilities are still top of the line.
More importantly, Huawei Mate 50 will also be equipped with Hongmeng 3.0. The streamlined Hongmeng 3.0 removes the bloated parts of 2.0 and improves the interaction experience between devices. Thanks to the addition of new algorithms, Hongmeng 3.0 is smoother than 2.0 in daily use, and multi-device flow is also expected to be distributed to more models.
It’s unclear how many versions huawei’s Mate 50 series will bring, but sources say there will be at least three.
