More details about iOS/iPadOS 16 are coming out with WWDC, and it looks like the new system will be beefed up with multitasking.
According to a recent leak, the upcoming iPadOS 16 will further enhance the iPad’s multitasking capabilities, including allowing users to resize Windows.
The feature, mined from Apple’s open-source WebKit infrastructure code on Github, is expected to be announced at WWDC 2022 next month.
The code seems to imply that the user is completely free to resize the window on iPadOS. Many people have been looking for this feature since Apple moved the iPad to its own operating system.

A separate Github update from Apple engineers also seems to confirm the addition of iPad multitasking mode, and as for how it will work in practice, some developers say they believe it will work like Windows 10’s “tablet mode,” which can be switched on and off at any time.
