Xiaomi MI pad 6, the latest addition to xiaomi tablet, has now passed the EEC certification and is expected to be released around August this year, according to device models.
iGeekphone has learned that the device’s model number is 22081283G, or “L83.”
There is also an L81A Redmi tablet, code-named “Dagu,” the report said. Since the L81A is a lower-spec version of the L81, there should be another L81 tablet. There is also expected to be a Xiaomi tablet named “L82”, given that there is another model between the L81 and L83.
Xiaomi and Redmi are supposedly preparing to launch at least four new tablets — the L81, L81A, L82 and L83. Xiaomi mi pad 6 Series will be powered by Mediatek processors instead of Qualcomm cpus, xiaomiui believes.

In addition, according to digital blogger @digital Chat website, xiaomi’s new tablet should be positioned as an entry-level cost-effective model, and the real iteration “L81” series is still being polished.
