On May 19, Vivo will introduce more smartphones to the Chinese market – Vivo S15 and S15 Pro. We have heard about these models for a long time, so their specification is no secret for us. Now we can also take a closer look at them thanks to the official photos.
Vivo S15
From the images posted by Vivo, we can say that Vivo S15 will have a relatively high-end and luxurious design. The device has a glass back and aluminum frame, a square design. The main camera cluster on the back includes three lenses with parameters respectively: 64MP wide-angle lens, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2MP macro lens. The lenses are arranged and arranged in a rectangular module in the left corner.
On the front, Vivo S15 is equipped with a 6.62-inch screen using an AMOLED panel with FHD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This screen uses a “mole” design with a 16MP selfie camera placed in the middle.
The internal hardware of the Vivo S15 is also relatively powerful when equipped with Snapdragon 870 chip from Qualcomm. This is a near-high-end chip of last year, but up to now, it is still a chip trusted by many manufacturers in the mid-range segment because it still has a strong performance while not encountering many problems. an overheating phenomenon like Snapdragon 888 or 8 Gen 1.
Vivo S15 will have 8GB or 12GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB storage. The device is equipped with a 4700mAh battery, supporting 80W fast charging technology similar to the high-end Vivo X80 series. In terms of color, users will have three color options to choose from blue, gold, and black.
Vivo S15 Pro
Vivo S15 Pro is to have a similar display, but a different processor: MediaTek Dimensity 8100. The memory variants may be similar to the base model, but the battery will be different: with a capacity of 4400mAh with 66-watt charging.
The selfie camera will probably be the same as in the base, but in the back, there will be a 50MP Sony IMX766V unit with advanced Digital Image Stabilization EIS as the main matrix. Both models will use the Android 12 operating system with the Origin OS Ocean interface. As we can see in the photos provided by Vivo, this smartphone will be available in three colors – blue, gold, and black.
