Despite sticking with two versions of the 5.4-inch mini, poor sales seem to have cemented Apple’s decision to ditch it.
In a new revelation, Mark Gurman confirms that Apple will change the iPhone 14 lineup at its fall event in September:
The 6.1-inch iPhone 14
6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max
6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro
6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max
He said the arrival of iPhone 14 Max would allow users to buy apple’s largest iPhone at a lower price point, with prices expected to be at least $200 cheaper than the current 13 Pro Max.
For a quick conversion, iPhone 13 Pro Max starts at $1,099, or $899 if the iPhone 13 is $200 cheaper. This corresponds to the overseas guide price of 256GB of the iPhone 13, which is 6,799 yuan in China. In other words, the starting price of the new 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max will not exceed 6,799 yuan in China this year, according to him.
Cook, of course, is a canny businessman, and he is a stickler.
Gurman revealed that Apple iphone 14/14 Max will be very different from the Pro/Pro Max in terms of screen shape, processor model and main camera specs, which continue with bangs and A15/A15 variants (A15X? Processor and 12 million main camera, the latter two are upgraded to exclamation mark hole screen, A16 processor and 48 million main camera.
