While the Galaxy S22 series has been a great sales success, no phone is perfect and previous issues with the new phone’s display have been fixed with a software update. But now the new phone has been revealed to have GPS problems, according to AndroidWorld.
Some Galaxy S22 Ultra users complained about broken GPS features on Samsung’s community forums. After the phone is first set up or not used for a long time, the feature will not work properly, causing navigation apps such as Google Maps to display an error message saying “GPS can’t be found”. The extent of the problem is unclear, but it appears to have affected a significant number of users.

The usual workarounds, such as resetting network settings or factory resetting devices, don’t seem to work for some users, though some users can fix the problem with a simple reboot. This should be an issue that can be fixed with an OTA update, and Samsung has not officially acknowledged the issue so far.
